DOQQ



A DOQQ is a computer-generated image of an aerial photograph in which image displacement has been removed. This image is a 1m DOQQ subset image of Washington DC which means it is a UTM projection with a 1mm reolution.

Nominal area choropleth map is a choropleth map that is used to dispaly nominal data. They rely on a qualitative classification of these groupings. This image displays the southern part of the Balkins. There is no order to the nations, it just diplays their names.

Bilateral graph


Bilateral graphs display two or more sets of data in a way that can be easily compared. This image shows who benefits from water resources, shwoing that lesser developed countires benefit less.

Accumulative line graph is a curve that illustrates income distribution, also know as the Lorenz curve. The straight line inthis image shows the lne of equality and the curze shows the actual income ditridution of the area studied.
